Pause, Baga

Overlooking the southern side of the Baga creek, Pause, is a multilevel restaurant with a choice of seating, from the open air top to an air conditioned lower section which can be converted to a private lounge. Serving a long list of delicacies from traditional north Indian to continental one can surely find choice for a variety of palates.

Pinacolada - Out of the book of classics, the pinacolada, a tropical blend made with pineapple juice, coconut cream, fresh cream & white rum.

Strawberry Mojito - A popular cocktail,made from muddled strawberry, mint & demerara sugar, not to forget the white rum & finally topped with club soda.

Melon fizz - Just what you need for this heat!! Fresh watermelon, chopped & juiced, topped with mint leaves & a dash of lime.

Mango slush - What a compliment the mint is with mango. Fresh mint, blended with mango juice & ice, finished with a squeeze of lime.

Fast & furious - What a cool cooler!! After one of these, I surely can say.. Looks can be deceiving. White rum,coconut rum, assembled with a dash of blue coraçon, topped with ice & sprite..

Paneer Malai tikka - Silky smooth cubes of cottage cheese, marinated in a rich cashew marinade, skewered with peppers, onions & tomatoes, served with a green mint chutney & creamy onions.

Chicken seekh kabab - Delicate chicken seekh kababs, mixed with aromatic veggies & spices, served with a mint chutney & fries.

Sesame prawns - Large white prawns, dunked into a batter & dusted with white sesame seeds, served with a thousand island sauce.

Paneer masala - Cubes of cottage cheese, cooked in a rustic tomato & onion gravy, finished with cream.

Masala rice - Beautifully rounded preparation of basmati rice, tossed with fried lentils, served with a fresh yogurt raita. 

Prawn baffad - The local curry!! White prawns, cooked in a simple aromatic gravy with vegetables.

Chicken salad - Cubes of chicken, tossed with cubes of pineapple, apples & cucumbers, finished with a mayo dressing.

Chicken masala - Juicy bite size boneless chicken pieces, stewed in a spicy rich gravy, served with assorted Indian bread, straight from the tandoor.
